On Aug. 14, Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children of Klamath County conducted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new Web site www.klamathfallscasa.org funded by a Ford Family Foundation grant.
The Web site, created by Wrinkledog, will help CASA recruit additional child advocate volunteers for foster children. It also includes information on how the community can support CASA’s mission to provide a trained advocate for every foster child in Klamath County.
CASA officials thanked Sterling Savings Bank for partnering with them on its Circle of Hope campaign. Circle of Hope will allow people to make tax-deductible bank transfer donations. For more information, click on Circle of Hope at the Web site.
Sandy Berger, executive director, also thanked the United Way and the Commission on Children and Families for their support of CASA.
For more information, including volunteer opportunities, contact CASA at 885-6017 or visit www.klamathfallscasa.org.
