Assistance League of Klamath Basin thanks Fairview Elementary School

Fairview Girl Scout Troop with their generous gifts to the Assistance League
The Assistance League of Klamath Basin wishes to thank the Fairview Elementary School for presenting us with a “Community Appreciation Award” plaque in recognition of our Operation School Bell program. The plaque is prominently displayed at Findables, our used furniture store on E. Main Street. We would also like to thank the Girl Scout Troop at Fairview for their generous gifts of new clothing. The girls raised the money from cookie sales and shopped for outfits suitable for girls 8-10 years old. The girls wanted to give back to the community and chose the Assistance League as the recipient. It was a very generous gift to us and the clothes will be used this coming school year in the Operation School program. Fairview is one of 37 schools in the Klamath Basin and Northern California who benefit from the Operation School Bell program. The Operation School Bell Program provides a complete set of new clothing to children in need in K-12 grades. This year thanks to the generosity of the community through grants, donations and attendance at our fundraising events, we were able to clothe over 730 children.
