Local Dog A Real Winner

Pictured here is AKC Judge Dr. Dale Simmons and owner/handler Marlene Palmer with Gideon at the Klamath County Dog Show. De Joie Du Chateau Rocher “Gideon” is a real winner. Gideon entered his first dog show in Klamath Falls this May at 10 months of age and won a three point major, winning Best of Breed over his sire, a world winning Champion. He was entered in the Roseburg show November 14 & 15th and won Best of Breed both days. Amoung his other accomplishments Gideon is a search and rescue dog with Klamath County Search and Rescue Dog Unit passing his “air scent” certification test November 7th at the young age of 16 months and he is the “cover dog” pictured on the front cover of the American Beauceron Calendar for 2010.
