Another New Bus

Basin Transit has received another new bus for regular bus route service thanks to the ARRA stimulus grants. The latest new bus is a 23 passenger 2009 Startrans with a heavy duty Chevrolet diesel engine. Purchased for $ 120,401 the bus includes all of the latest ADA handicapped features and automatic tire chains. The bus has been placed in duty on the route serving Pelican City and Stewart Lennox.
