Verlin and Sharon Munson — 50th anniversary

Verlin and Sharon Munson of Klamath Falls will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 to 5 p.m. today in Klamath Assembly of God Church, 235 S. Laguna St. Family members and friends are invited to attend. They were married on Jan. 27, 1960, in Libby, Mont. Both are ordained pastors and have been involved in the ministry since 1974. They have five biological children and two adopted children. They are Russell Munson of St. Joseph, Mo., Bob Munson of Klamath Falls, Rod Munson of Klamath Falls who is currently in Istanbul, Turkey, Marlo Russell, Melody Agier and Lilly Munson of Astoria, Ore., and Savanna Munson, who is still at home. They also have 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Verlin and Sharon are currently foster parents who have opened their home and family to many children over the past 50 years.
