David and Sherry Biddison — 30 years

David and Sherry Biddison of Chiloquin recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary. They were married on Feb. 2, 1980, at Klamath Christian Center in Klamath Falls. David was a salesman in the fly-fishing industry until retiring in 1988 following an auto accident with a drunk driver. Sherry worked at Weyerhaeuser Co. prior to retiring when she married David. They lived on Bainbridge Island in Washington before moving to Klamath County in 1990. They volunteer for the SMART (Start Making A Reader Today) program, reading at Chiloquin Elementary School, and are actively involved in Chiloquin Christian Center. Their children are Sgt. Mike Carpenter, who is serving in Iraq, and his wife Kari of Colorado Springs, Colo., Monique Stringer and her husband Mike of Roseburg, Ore., and their five children, and Rhea Bias and her husband of Roseburg and their two children.
