Keith and Vickie Oglesbee Celebrate 30 Years

Keith and Vickie (Potter) Oglesbee, formerly of Klamath Falls, recently celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary with a trip to their favorite hideaway on the Oregon coast. Married at the First Baptist Church in Milton-Freewater, Oregon on May 3, 1980, they began dating the previous year after serving as best man and maid-of-honor at the wedding of mutual friends. After completing college, Keith entered the Army, and the Oglesbee's spent much of the following years living and traveling across the US, Europe and the Middle East. Keith retired from the Army in 2009 and is now employed with Raytheon as Middle East Regional Manager for International Business Development. Vickie is a fulltime homemaker and, like most present and former Army wives, is an expert at managing a busy and on-the-move household. They share a love of travel and family, and particularly enjoy their frequent visits home to Oregon to see family and treasured old friends. The Oglesbee's have two children: April, who is a teacher in Taichung, Taiwan, and Shasta, a student at the University of West Georgia. The Oglesbee's currently live in Doha, Qatar but make their permanent home in Newnan, Georgia.
