I Softball and graduated from Portland State University with Bachelor degrees in Health Sciences: Pre-Med and Community Health, and also graduated from Mt. Hood. She is currently working for Providence Health Systems in Portland, OR performing outpatient and sports physical therapy. The groom-to-be is a 1989 graduate of St. Joseph High School in Hilo, HI, and a 1995 graduate of University of Washington with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Mathematics. He is currently a Lieutenant with Portland Fire and Rescue in Portland, OR. The couple plans to wed on October 10th in Maui, HI. They are also planning a Portland Reception in November of this year.

The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Henley High School and a 2009 graduate of Oregon State University, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry and an emphasis in marine biology. She is employed at the Arizona Science Center in Phoenix, Ariz., as a program interpreter.
The groom-to-be graduated from Mountain Ridge High School in Glendale in 2005 and attended Oregon State University and the University of Utah, studying communications technology while playing baseball until being drafted in 2009 by the Arizona Diamondbacks. He has started his professional career as a closing pitcher for the South Bend, Ind., Silverhawks.
