Krista Tecumseh of Klamath Falls and Stan and Stephanie Tecumseh of Klamath Falls have announced the engagement of their daughter Erin Tecumseh to Dustin Starr, son of Teresa and John Penhall of Klamath Falls and Mike and Gena Starr of Klamath Falls. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Mazama High School and currently employed by Klamath Tribal Health and Family Services. The groom-to-be is a graduate of Henley High School and currently employed at Avian Design. Their wedding is planned for March 6, 2010, at the First Presbyterian Church. They will honeymoon on a seven-day cruise, after which they will reside in their new home in Klamath Falls.
Russell and Debra Daniels of Roseburg, Ore., have announced the engagement of their daughter Shannon Skyler Daniels to Patrick William Snider, son of Robert and Susan Snider of Klamath Falls. The bride-to-be is a 2009 graduate of Oregon Institute of Technology and the groom-to-be is a 2008 graduate of Oregon Institute of Technology with a degree in business management. They will be married on May 20, 2010, on the island of Hawaii with a local reception to follow in July.
Brandy Cox and George Kasper of Klamath Falls have announced their engagement and plan to be married on April 3, 2010, in Trappers Inn at Kingsley Field in Klamath Falls. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Steve and Diane Runft of Klamath Falls and the groom-to-be is the son of Holbert and Helen Kasper of Klamath Falls. She is a 1994 graduate of Klamath Union High School and he is a 1996 graduate of Mazama High School.

Cheyenne Swartz, daughter of Retired Navy Chief Terry Swartz and Rocio Swartz of Klamath Falls, and William Windish, son of Peter Windish and Susan Windish of Dayton, Ore., have announced their engagement and plan to be married. They became engaged at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., on Dec. 15, 2009. Both are attending Southern Oregon University and are residing in Ashland. Their wedding will be on July 17 in Klamath Falls.

The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, Calif., a 2008 graduate of Northern Arizona University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education, and a 2009 graduate of Northern Arizona University with a master’s degree in elementary education. She is currently employed at Four Oaks Elementary School in Four Oaks, N.C. The groom-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Mazama High School and a 2009 graduate of Northern Arizona University with a bachelor’s degree in anthropology. He is currently employed at Tri-Arc Foods in Raleigh, N.C. A July 24, 2010, wedding in Cary, N.C. is planned.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Richard and Shiara Kirsch of Wickenburg, a 2002 graduate of Henley High School and a 2006 graduate in business from the University of Arizona. She currently works in marketing for the firm of Cassidy Turley Bre Commercial in Phoenix, Ariz., and resides in Scottsdale, Ariz. The groom-to-be is the son of Carolyn Muth and the late David Muth of Phoenix, a 2000 graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Phoenix and a 2005 graduate in business leadership from Fort Hays State University in Kansas. He is currently working in sports marketing for the Mesa Convention and Visitors Bureau. They are planning a honeymoon in Italy and will then be residing in their new home in Scottsdale.

She is a 2000 graduate of Cascade High School and 2003 graduate of the University of Washington. She works as a sales representative at Lincare. The groom-to-be is the son of Roger and Susie Titus of Dunsmuir, Calif. He is a 2001 graduate of Dunsmuir High School and attended courses at the Oregon Institute of Technology. He works as a retail wireless consultant at U.S. Cellular. They met while working together at the Herald and News, where both continue to do freelance work. They will make Klamath Falls their home.

She is attending Phoenix University in the field of business and working and residing in central Oregon. He recently graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology in the field of radiologic science and is also residing in central Oregon.

Joshua Dean Cain, 28, a native of Washington, D.C., now residing in Klamath Falls, and Angela Rochelle Ernst, 27, a native of Klamath Falls, became engaged to be married on Sunday, Dec. 13. The groom-to-be is the son of Kathleen and Jeffrey Cain of Fredricksburg, Va., and the bride-to-be is the daughter of Linda and Bob Ernst of Klamath Falls. He is a personal security specialist and she recently graduated from college with degrees in engineering and management. Their wedding is set to take place in Ashland sometime next summer.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Beverly Lee and Steve and Cindy Lee of Klamath Falls. She is a graduate of Mazama High School and Linfield College and is attending the Oregon Institute of Technology while pursuing a career in pharmacy. The groom-to-be is the son of Mitch and Linda Thomas. He is a graduate of Mazama High School and is attending Klamath Community College, where he is pursuing an associate’s degree. They plan to reside in Klamath Falls while continuing their education.

Catherine Corinna Wright and Kyle Jason Lyman, together with there parents have announced their engagement and plan to marry on March 6, 2010, in Tulelake, CA. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Roy and Theresa Wright and the groom-to-be is the son of Jim and Carolyn Lyman all of Tulelake, CA. Catherine is a 2004 Graduate of Tulelake High School and is currently attending Oregon Institute of Technology majoring in Applied Psychology. She plans to complete her bachelor’s degree in 2010. Kyle is a 2001 graduate of Tulelake High School and a 2008 graduate of Oregon State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Sports Science. He is currently farming alongside his family while establishing is own farm. The couple plans to reside in Tulelake continuing to build their farm and one day their family.
