Nathaniel D Torres and Alexandra N Battis of Klamath Falls, OR were united in marriage on the 12th of June 2010. He is the son to David Torres and Jill Schultz and graduated in 2005 from Triad. She is the daughter of Terry Battis and Sue Killinger and graduated from Henley in 2007. They plan on residing in Charleston, SC where he will be active in the U.S. Navy.
Brooke Marie Heiney and Andrew Jacob Smith were united in marriage on May 16, 2010. The ceremony was held at the Box-R Ranch in Ashland, Oregon. The bride is the daughter of Bill and Rhonda Heiney of Tulelake, California and the groom is the son of Alex and Peggy Smith of Klamath Falls, Oregon. The bride’s attendants included Erica Tong who served as the maid of honor, Emily O'Connor, Jackie Cross, Lauren Fabrizio, and Natalie Smith. The groom’s attendants included his brother Nick Smith as best man, Tristan Cross, Van Dang, Jared Heiney, and Daniel Fredrickson. Reverend David Dendy officiated the ceremony, which was held inside the Great Western Hall. A reception at the ranch immediately followed the wedding. It was a beautiful day filled with family and friends. Brooke and Andrew would like to thank everyone for making the day so special. The couple enjoyed their honeymoon in Puerto Villarta and will continue to make Klamath Falls their home.

Their wedding reception was held at Hidden Grove Estates in Central Point, Ore., on June 5.

A flute solo was performed by Patty Petrovich and Sarah Hurengen performed a solo of “Come Away With Me.” The bride is the daughter of Liz and Dave Phillips of Salinas, Calif., and the groom is the son of Victoria and Brandon Hatcher of Klamath Falls. The bride’s niece Linzi Hawkins was the maid of honor; Alicia Edick and Leah Hallock were the bridesmaids; and the bride’s nieces, Kaylee and Becca Haskins, were the flower girls. The best man and ring bearer was the son of the bride and groom, Jaxton Hatcher, and the groomsmen were Nick Brandt, Luke Ramsay and Victor Vasquez. Becca Silva was the photographer. Susan is employed at The Childrens Clinic of Klamath as a receptionist. Todd is employed at Cascade Honda as a mechanic. We will reside in Klamath Falls with a honeymoon to Vegas in the future.

Rick and Terri Torres of Klamath Falls have announced the marriage of their son Nicholas Torres to Tiera Cox, daughter of Leonard and Heidi Cox of Orem, Utah. The couple were married June 18 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Afterwards, they enjoyed a brief honeymoon in Park City, Utah, before leaving for Oxford, England, where he will be studying this summer. The groom is attending the Moritz College of Law at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. He will graduate in 2012. The bride is preparing to take the OAT, an entrance exam for those wishing to be optometrists. There are only 18 optometry schools in the nation, of which Ohio State University is one. Though westerners at heart, they are looking forward to being Buckeyes for the next several years. The couple first became friends as running partners. Her twin brother Derek Hunter composed an original wedding song for her and played the guitar as she and her father walked down the aisle. The aisles were decorated with layered large black mesh bows with smaller black-and-white polka-dotted bows and a single long-stemmed red rose in the center of each bow. Mary and Paul Prange of Klamath Falls and Irene and Richard Woodard of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, are happy to announce the marriage of their children Jaclyn Prange and Thomas Woodard of Los Angeles, California, on August 14, 2009, at Temescal Gateway Park, which is nestled in a quiet canyon just north of Santa Monica on the Southern California coastline. The wedding took place in a grassy meadow shaded by native sycamores. Jackie and Thom honeymooned in Costa Rica and Panama. Jackie Prange recently graduated from UCLA School of Law. She is a law clerk for a U.S. District Court Judge and next fall will start a fellowship with Shute, Mihaly & Weinberger LLP, a public interest environmental law firm in San Francisco. Thom Woodard is an actuary for WellPoint, Inc. They spend their free time hiking in the mountains of California.
